Sara Bareilles is Back!
Are you ready for the best news ever? Sara Bareilles has just announced that she will be returning to Waitress alongside Tony winner Gavin Creel. Sara will be reprising her role as Jenna in the Tony-nominated hit show Waitress for the second time. She also won a Tony for composing this fabulous show. Gavin Creel will be taking on the role of Dr. Pomatter for the first time. The pair will play a limited run from January 7 th to February 6, 2019 succeeding Nicolette Robinson who took her final bow on December 9 th . This past September, Bareilles and Creel dueted on the Waitress tune "Bad Idea" at a press event for the musical's upcoming London premiere. That production will star Katharine McPhee reprising her Broadway turn as Jenna alongside David Hunter as Dr. Pomatter.
